Dear Families
Having reviewed the current situation on site, we have had to make the difficult decision to extend the staggered return to the academy for our students for the rest of this week. As always, student safety is our first and foremost concern. This means that we will have to continue with some year groups onsite and some doing remote learning from home.
The plans are as follows:
Thursday 5th September 2024
Years 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13 on site
Years 9 and 10 remote learning from home
Friday 6th September 2024
Years 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13
Years 8 and 11 remote learning from home
In addition, we will be staggering our end of day finish times to ease congestion along the pedestrian walkway, which has very limited capacity. Students who have their form time in Walker and the annex block will be dismissed at 3:10pm, students from Zephaniah and Kennedy block will be dismissed at 3:15pm.
Sixth Formers will register in form time and be dismissed at 2:55pm.
