A Warm Welcome Back to All Our Families and Students Welcome back!

We hope you’ve had a peaceful and restful festive break. It’s absolutely freezing outside, but the start of term has been wonderfully positive.

The school is buzzing with smiles, laughter, and the joy of reconnecting, as our girls share stories about their holidays and catch up with one another.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who continue to prioritise 100% attendance and punctuality—it truly makes a difference. Please keep an eye out for updates on upcoming events and parents’ evenings.

As the evenings are still dark early, we kindly ask that you encourage your daughters to head straight home after school.

Additionally, please remind them to wear warm coats to stay protected against the cold weather. The new year brings with it fresh hopes and challenges, and we are ready to face them together as a strong and united school community.

Remember, you are always welcome to come in for a chat, and we strongly encourage you to attend our upcoming Chai and Chats sessions.

Thank you for your continued support.

We look forward to working closely with you to ensure your daughters receive nothing but the very best this year.

Absence disrupts the education of the individual pupil and the whole class. Are you aware those children who do not attend regularly:

  • miss out on opportunities in further education and the world of work?
  • do not achieve well in exams
  • find it difficult to maintain friendships
  • are more likely to become involved in crime

Household Support Fund

November 2024 update: enquiries for hardship grants

On 2 September, the DWP announced that the Household Support Fund will be extended from October 2024 to March 2025.

Households facing financial hardship can apply for grants through the Hardship Grant Community Fund. These grants are given out by us, with help from the Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) and local partner organisations.

Hardship payments are intended to help households with everyday household essentials such as energy and food, with grant payments of up to £200 per household.

New enquiries for hardship grant requests are now open
